Time is irrelevant now
but also the only thing
that matters
between places.
*
The sky never turns gray
as if it were not
meant to darken
or to call an end;
transparent clouds
form a bridge to connect
her to the destination.
*
She sits among people,
eyes closed,
captive between rows,
but freed in a place
not her own.
The illusion of being
still in another land
detached from the earth,
calms her burning eyes.
*
“What is the time now?”
Someone asks her.
Sometimes nobody knows
to which timezone
the road belongs.

How true, Kate! And how we long for those lost moments. 🙂 Thank very much for the lovely comment. 🙂
Lovely poem and beautiful photograph.
Really lovely. The best moments are when we feel lost in time.
Thank you so much, Julia. 🙂
Love both your poem and the photo. Happy A to Z-ing!
