“For whatever we lose (like a you or a me),
It’s always our self we find in the sea.” ― E.E. Cummings
Sea, to me, is an emotion embodied. It loves, hates, sweeps over an underwhelming year. It’s one of my best friends, maybe that’s why it’s the most favorite subject of my lens. I forget all small tricky details of life when I walk by the shore. I can’t count how many times I escaped to that tranquility, but I am surely grateful to my almost next door neighbor, Pacific ocean. We bury a new story in each other’s hearts every time we meet; that’s how the friendship is evolving, slowly, steadily.
Someone once told me, if you live by the ocean, you can never write a single thought without giving it a part. I agree. Truth is, I can’t.
I am posting for this 5 day Black & White Challenge. Rules are simple, and you are invited to participate. I’m not going to pick one single photographer because you all are good and can show the world in your very own way.
