When my eyes meet
your gaze,
this distance
seems like
a silent meander.
My forlorn mind
goes adrift,
until you satisfy its
naked canvas
with your
colored notions,
blemished speculations,
and incredulous gimmicks.

When you love something, it’s not easy to let it go all of a sudden; that’s why we hold on to memory of good places, people and moments. I am a silent reader of Trifecta Writing Challenge; I read every single post on their prompts every week; sometimes I clap, sometimes I re-read while admiring in silence. Trifecta has gifted me many definitions of new and old words, many reflective evenings with those words, and fellowship of a bunch of brilliant bloggers who write. I still cannot believe Trifecta challenge is ending; I will keep my winner badge as a token of bright nostalgia on this site.
