She sits in the middle of nowhere
today,
chasing the wandering words
in her abandoned thoughts.
Life happens too fast
and
her imagination crawls,
linking her faded future and glittery past,
rearranging misery to tranquility,
to create a wondrous manuscript .
Ha ha ; Thank you, Yatin, for your kind words. π
First, the words came to mind , then they went to MS word. π And then I thought of finding a photograph to suit the mood and the words. π
Only you can make a gloomy feeling so entertaining!! like your choice of expressions.
Did picture inspired the words or the other way around? Both complements each other
Hello Veronica , your posts are amazing. I try not to miss them and read all posts on Saturdays , sometimes.:)
“We are here, and this is now” – That’s an amazing reminder. Thank you for sharing π
Thank you for the visit and the words.:)
Hi Archita π I know this feeling; which is why Robert has painted me a sign on two tiles which says, “We are here, and this is now.” Otherwise I let life fly by. π Nicely written my poetry friend. I’m missing the Sunday whirls and will have to start writing them again.
Dhriti, Thank you for stopping by. π A work of fiction called “Layers of Life” was written to celebrate the century. π Since it was a busy work day , only 5 minutes were spent on 100th post!..I feel guilty , though! π
This is 102nd post. π
Ah! That “jee” is out of “respect” as per our Indian tradition. π “Jee” == “Sir” /”Madam”. π Thank you , Tatsat, for the last line. π Inspiring .:)
Is this your 100th post? Any special post for completing century? π
HEYYYY! That was only because tatsatji was taken by someone else :)) Not that I wanted to show off ..or maybe a little π
I am sure the story and the author will go places… π
Life happens too fast and my imagination crawls..:D..Hee hee.. Thank you for stopping by, Amit. π Glad you liked the picture too:)
So I am told too..:) Lets see how far this story reaches!..:) Thank you for stopping by, Tatsat jee. π
Thank you so much for the reading and comment, Frizz . Aren’t we all re-arranging it pretty often ?:)
Soul stirring..wow..That’s great to hear and of course encouraging to think more..:) Thank you for stopping by and the comment, Vishal.:)
I am so glad that you liked both of them ( Photograph and poem). My words always wander to any direction..I talk just too much :D..hee hee.. Thank you for stopping by , comment and the tweet. * BIG HUGS* π
Nice capture . Life happens too fast :):)
Thats how great stories and poems are born, or so I am told…
“…re-arranging misery
to tranquility…”
= good goal!
soul stirring photo and thoughts. Our mind keep wandering on the past and future:)
Beautiful photographs and nice expression ‘ chasing the wandering words’. Loved the poem. I always do that but wondrous manuscript eludes me.
